Spring Break

Today is Monday and it's the first official day of my kids spring break. Today was just a day of catching up on nothing. It was a day my two boys filled in the holes they dug in the front yard. From another part of the yard that they dug up. It was a day of eating Easter dinner leftovers for breakfast and a day of enjoying the lunch brought in by my daughter after her college classes was over. We watched a movie and cuddled while doing it and plan on eating around the dinner table later. Now, that sounds like nothing to most but it makes me happy because it was just about being around the kids and home. Tomorrow will be more "productive".

finally took the plunge

I am so excited. I started this blog months ago. It's been a while since my previous posts, but better late than never. My Square foot garden is in. I made up my mind that if I made mistakes, it wasn't the end of the world. Who knew that it was so easy and fun. I killed off a few plants, but who care?

Day 1 on Starting This Thing

My most recent obsession is with blogs. I love some, don't care for some but it's very addicting. Impressed with the creative ones, I just never thought I could make one. It has something to do with wanting things perfect, I guess. This blog will change many times, I'm sure but here goes.  Two cups of coffee doesn't hurt!
